These are the instructors that will be teaching your classes in 2025. Each and every one of them is highly skilled and experienced, but just as important: they are always friendly and approachable.
Alex - Manager and Yoga Teacher
Did you know….Alex previously went on a Healthy Options holiday as a guest in 2015!
She enjoyed it so much she set herself the goal to work for us one day. 2025 will be her 9th season with us, her 5th as Manager. She lives full time in Vassiliki and still LOVES working at healthy Options.
Alex was a professional dancer back in the day, she then went on to be a TV exec and when the right time came, she trained to be a yoga instructor in Athens, followed by some time in India to become an RYT600 qualified Yoga Instructor, Reflexologist and Reiki Practitioner. She has 100s of hours of international teaching experience now, including leading on a Yoga Teacher Training Course.
Her specialities are Hatha, Ashtanga, Vinyasa Flow and Yin. She also enjoys holding Nidra, Restorative, Meditation, Pranayama and Relaxation classes and inspiring others to improve mobility, wellness and commit to long term health goals. She is an avid SUP Yoga instructor.
Alex’s teaching style is fun with the intent to guide guests into staying mobile and strong far into the future.
“As I evolve, I just want to be able to move freely and ensure others can too. I find my classes are more safety and mobility focused now, but I still enjoy creating that balance of calmness and power when I teach, and I allow my dance background to influence my classes in part. I want my students to leave feeling energised and happy!”

Stefanie - Yoga teacher
Stef is one of our Yoga Teachers and we are welcoming her back for her fourth season at Healthy Options! Her journey with yoga began over five years ago with training in Guatemala, followed by a globe-trotting adventure that allowed her to share her practice and gain experience across borders.
Stef’s teaching embraces all levels and styles, from deeply restorative sessions to more dynamic Hatha and Vinyasa flow. This year, she brings even more depth to her offerings with her newly completed Breathwork Facilitator training from Loka Yoga School. She will be weaving this knowledge into her classes and sound healing experiences, creating a powerful and holistic approach to well-being.
She describes her teaching as a creative exploration of yoga, blending mindfulness, philosophy, alignment, and subtle energy work.
“Returning to Healthy Options for another season feels like coming home. I’m so grateful to continue sharing my passion for yoga, breathwork, and sound healing with this incredible community. My intention is to create a space where you can reconnect with yourself, find balance, and leave feeling empowered and at peace."
Stefanie will be available for the entire season
Gail - Fitness Teacher
Gail has always been a fitness enthusiast, incorporating Fitness, Pilates and Yoga sessions in and around her day-job as a biologist in the pharmaceutical industry. In 2015, following a period of poor heath, Gail decided to take a career break and retrained. She is now an L2 group Fitness Coach focussed on Strength & Training and a Pilates instructor (mat and reformer), plus she also counts barre and aerial yoga in her repertoire!
As a molecular biologist and a DNAFit® certified practitioner, Gail likes to add evidence-based biohacking into her fitness and wellbeing regimen and is always striving to be-better & do-better, both for clients and herself. "I strive to deliver fun, challenging classes with the aim of helping you feel positive, progressive changes in both mind and body. I have been a guest at Healthy Options on quite a few occasions in the past and I am excited to be returning as part of the team, helping you walking away a little taller, feeling a little stronger”
Gail Nolan will be available from 29th September

Harriet - Pilates Teacher
We welcome Harriet on her first year working at Healthy Options. Coming from a ballet and contemporary dance background, Harriet has a love for movement. She earnt a first-class degree from one of the UK’s leading dance schools, based in London.
Throughout her time at university, she gained an understanding of movement, body mechanics and the importance of a mindful practice. She was taught by previous members of the Royal Ballet School, which she believes not only helped her professional dance training, but it also made her focus on their strong foundation in posture, flexibility and strength. This is where she found her love for Pilates.
Since graduating, she completed her training in both Reformer and Mat Pilates. As a teacher, she has enjoyed combining her dance training with a commitment to promoting functional strength, mobility and movement.
“Having experienced a range of different teaching styles over the years, I am constantly seeking ways to bring creativity to my classes and learn from my students. I want to create the best Pilates class tailored to my participants needs. To that end, I can’t wait to start at Healthy Options and join the team that enhances everybody’s holiday.”
Harriet Machin will be available from 5th May
to 12th October
Mike - SUP/Bike/Sailing Guy
Mike is an ex civil engineer who has spent 15 lovely long seasons in Vass with the Wildwind and Healthy Options teams.
His unique role here means Mike gets to know all our guests and staff alike, making everyone feel at home and ensuring everyone is having a good time!
Mike is a great conversationalist, if you are looking to while away a few hours in some good company, head down to the beach and ask for SUP Mike and he will be happy to pass the time of day!
Mike also loves cycling, paddle boarding and sailing. He will guide you on our bike rides and teach you how to Stand-Up Paddle Board, but he can also sail you around the bay on one of our beautiful catamarans where you can choose to do as much or as little as you like.
